“I am inspired by fundamental characteristics of natural ecosystems. In nature, matter is continually recycled, losing nothing, although energy is degraded and lost. In my opinion, recycling is an art of living as well as respect for the environment. As an artist I am passionate about the work of metal and their different aspects when time leaves its trace on.”
Born in Morocco, Mustapha Chadid lives and works in Gatineau, Quebec. He has a BA in Fine Art and Design from the Université du Quebec, Outaouais.
