Soma Mo
Originally from a hill tribe from south west China, Soma Mo began making jewellery after immigrating to Edmonton. Her beading, combines traditional and unusual combinations of stone colours and shapes.
In 2014 Soma went to China's southwest border with Tibet to study traditional silver smithing. She works only with hand tools and no electricity.
