June 29th-July 19th: Anne-Sophie Vallée, Futur composé Solo Exhibition of jewellery and sculptural works by the winner of the 2016 annual National Jewellery Student Competition. Vernissage June 29th 5-7 pm.  

Anne-Sophie Vallée is a jewellery artist from Sherbrooke, Canada. Her first exposure to metalsmithing was in 2008 in Taxco, Mexico, where she studied for one semester at the UNAM (Universidad Autónoma de Mexico). She later completed collegial studies at the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal in partnership with the School of Jewellery of Montreal between 2008 and 2011. She is a recent graduate from NSCAD University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and holds a BFA with a major in Jewellery Design and Metalsmithing. In September 2016, she will start a full-time artist-in-residence program at the Harbourfront Center in Toronto. Her work has been exhibited in Montreal, Toronto, Halifax and Vancouver, as well as in Chicago, Illinois.
