Diane Lemire

Diane Lemire is a multidisciplinary artist who lives in Chelsea, QC. A graduate from the University of Ottawa in Visual Art and Education, her full-time artistic practice has spanned 15 years, and includes Land Art, Installation, international exhibitions, as well as teaching her love for textiles. Diane integrates a variety of found objects into her textiles such as beads, glass, bones, pottery, money, thimbles, parts of tools, and vintage clothing. The story of these recycled materials reflects her heritage.
