    La Pai Gallery presents an exhibit of playful new works in various mediums by gallery artist Erin Robertson. This on going series of sculptures, sketches and maquettes reflects an insatiablie exploration of possibilties in mixed media, ceramics and bronze. Embodying theFamiliar, Robertson toys with mythologies involving the femine mystique, domesticity and animal nature. 

    Erin Robertson is a Canadian painter and sculptor based in the National capital region.Her studio practice involves an exploration of material and subject that extends to works in a variety of mediums linked thematically through relationships to the human condition and the natural world.

    Growing up as a third culture kid has had a marked influence on Robertsons approach to art making which draws on mythological, environmental and societal themes and references folk traditions, popular cultural and Art histories.
