Originally from Quebec City, Marie-Eve G. Castonguay holds a diploma from the École de Joaillerie de Québec as well as a BFA in Jewellery Design and Metalsmithing from NSCAD Ui n Halifax. Her work was showcased in exhibitions throughout Canada as well as in various countries in Europe, such as France, Romania, Spain, Austria and Greece. she was granted the Joya Award at Autor International Jewelry Fair in 2015 and the Best of Wearable Artwork Award at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition in 2016. Creating pieces like miniature sculptures that one can wear, Marie-Eve is interested in the close relationship we have with jewellery. Her work explores notions of belonging and intimacy
