Taygan Crapo Appleton

Raspberry Sherbert - Glass sculpture. Eye Candy series. In a large graceful sweep, this one of a kind sculpture measures 16 x 10 x 8 cm. 

These works were inspired by the artist's mother with whom she made candies and chocolates. Realizing the viscosity of molten sugar is similar to molten glass, Taygan has developed the form since 2014 by pulling the glass repeatedly, as one pulls taffy candy.
