While af Klint's landscape paintings, with their serene depictions of the natural world, presented a traditional and accessible face to the world, her mystical works, featuring the enigmatic swan motif, revealed a more esoteric and personal aspect of her artistic vision. These two seemingly disparate threads of af Klint's work have long fascinated me, and my ceramic vessels attempt to unite them, seeking to discover something new about the artist's inner world.

Collection: Lisa Creskey

L.A.
