Rising 4 | Standing glass sculpture by Cheryl Wilson Smith

Rising 4, impressive freestanding sculpture of cast glass on a steel base, measuring 165 cm high and 28 cm in diameter. Comprised of 11 stacking glass segments which are separated to transport.

The artist manipulates the physical characteristics of powdered glass, building it up in layers to achieve organic forms reminiscent of land formations.
