This \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003emindset has become a self-imposed cage. \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe form itself is inspired by birdcages. The overlapping lines of spiraling \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003esilver wires evoke overgrown vines, suggesting how my ambitions became a \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ebarrier. Inside the cage, a silver dome with chased roots hold a small sprout \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ethat represents new growth. Through the hinged door with a tab catch, I \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003eintroduced the possibility of freedom through introspection.
