Ana Falceta
Ana Falceta is a Brazilian Textile, Mixed Media and Book artist based in Burlington, Ontario. She holds a BA in Textile Design from Sheridan College, Canada. Previously, she studied Tourism & Hospitality, and Graphic Design in Brazil and had prosperous professional experience as a travel consultant, mixed media artist, hand bookbinder, and craft teacher.
Ana explores the contrast between texture and surface, creating artworks that are inspired by landscape satellite and aerial imageries. In exploring multiple techniques and materials, she designs a harmonious encounter between the traditional and the contemporary.
