Cheryl Wilson Smith

Cheryl Wilson Smith is a glass artist who is recognized internationally for her innovative approach to glass casting. Wilson-Smith has lived all her life in Canada’s North. Drawing from her isolated life and artist residencies around the world, she is able to achieve forms that resemble familiar land formations by manipulating the physical characteristics of powdered glass.

Wilson Smith began exhibiting in 2007 and won the 2015 RBC Emerging Glass Artist Award. Her work has been in numerous exhibitions in galleries throughout North America and in the U.K.
