This sculptural ring is grounded in a reflection on the relationships that shape our trajectories. Our impulses, projects, and achievements do not arise from the individual alone, but are also built through presences that support, influence, and make it possible to move forward.

This piece is a tribute to my mother and her devotion to my dreams. She has always worked hard, placing her children’s well-being at the center of her efforts. She is a central pillar of my journey, a constant support, a true safety net during periods of uncertainty. This work acknowledges her presence as a foundational force behind my projects and my ability to pursue my ambitions.

More broadly, this piece invites reflection on the relationships that shape us. Whether familial, friendly, or otherwise, these supports contribute to our stability, our confidence, and our capacity to dream and to realize those dreams. They take many forms but are often essential to who we become.

Dreams are represented by an expanded form, an “funnel of possibilities.” From this form emerges a tree whose branches evoke the multiplicity of possible directions depending on one’s choices and future projects. Beneath this structure, a net inspired by plant cellular structures observed under the microscope supports the composition, echoing this idea of support. The continuation of the funnel gradually transforms into an increasingly fine wire forming the body of the ring, which wraps around the wearer's finger.
