Paul McClure

For over 25 years, Paul McClure has been creating works that interpret the body at the cellular level to reflect our humanity in an era of medical and biological advancement. He combines mastery of his craft and an acute awareness of jewellery’s traditions and conventions with a strong interest in digital technologies.

A jewellery artist, educator, writer, curator and community arts organizer, his work has been shown throughout North America, Europe and Asia. He is represented in collections including the Canadian Museum of History, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Barcelona Design Museum and National Museums of Scotland. For the past 15 years, he has been a professor in Jewellery at the Centre for Arts & Design, George Brown College, Toronto.
