Soma Mo is from the Tibetan mountain Yi Tribe where silver jewellery making is an ancient tradition. She has trained under a master there and she is one of very few women doing so. Soma also went to Vancouver Community College for a diploma degree for Jewelry Art and Design. Bringing traditional and modern methods together has become an essential element of her artistic growth.
