Ten outstanding artists have lived and worked in the same milieu for the past decades, from the defining days of contemporary Canadian craft. Three are laureates of the country's highest award for craft, the Saidye Bronfman Award. Contemporary craft evolves; these artists' sustained explorations of their mediums are an important force of this change.
