Peace Study, Large Porcelain Wall Sculpture by Paula Murray

Peace Study, 2025 - wall sculpture of porcelain elements that seem to float on the metal base. 20" x 40".  The Sculpture can easily be installed either vertically or horizontally. 

“Peace Study” is a series expanding the theme of interconnectedness on both micro and macro levels. Hundreds of white porcelain arcs, like strips of paper weave a web of connections, creating a seamless network, bridging space and differences, moving amongst light and shadow creating a unified whole out of the chaos.  These links are fragile yet strong; individual yet cohesive; simple yet infinitely complex; underscoring how profoundly our understanding has to be of the interconnectedness of all existence if we hope to move forward.
