Secret Garden represents the internal thoughts limiting my personal growth. I have a tendency to compare my present abilities to others and imagine success as something achieved “one day” rather than through the present moment. This mindset has become a self-imposed cage. The form itself is inspired by birdcages. The overlapping lines of spiraling silver wires evoke overgrown vines, suggesting how my ambitions became a barrier. Inside the cage, a silver dome with chased roots hold a small sprout that represents new growth. Through the hinged door with a tab catch, I introduced the possibility of freedom through introspection. I weaved green gemstones throughout the structure to symbolize renewal.
