Spirit Sigil: Portal explores the threshold between the inner and outer self. The pendant rotates, allowing the wearer to choose whether to open or close the portal, symbolizing a transformation between the inner and outer worlds. Engraved on the portal are sigils and symbols inspired by alchemical drawings and diagrams that were historically used to visualize material and spiritual transformation. Drawing from the concept of alchemy, I designed my own symbols as a fictional language that represents the interconnected states of the mind, body, and spirit. This piece summons an expansion of consciousness through reflection on what to conceal or reveal.
