Call For Artists!

CHEO) has posted a request for submission of qualifications from artists  – a Request for Supplier Qualifications.  It is the first of a two-stage call process. The second stage will be a Request for Proposal that will be issued to invited/short-listed artists. The request is published on Bonfire, the on-line procurement platform.

The deadline for stage 1 submission of qualifications is November 14th.

The request includes three significant opportunities – a mobile/suspended installation in the main lobby;  installations integrated in exterior-interior limestone walls at the entries to the building on two levels;  and a mural in the Level 1 Main Lobby. These need to be integrated with the building and are intended to be complete/installed in November 2027 at the same time as construction completion.
