Princess Margriet of the Netherlands gazes upon Lisa Creskey's artwork

Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet of the Netherlands & Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven commemorated the 77th Anniversary since the Liberation of the Netherlands and the role Canadians played in the Second World War.

Artist Lisa Creskey was commissioned by the City of Ottawa to create a sculpture as a gift for Princess Margriet of the Netherlands in celebration of the two countries' historic collaboration. The details written into both the tulip and its park-shaped base have lasting significance.

Congratulations Lisa!
