Luofan Zhuang

Luofan Zhuang (OCAD University): 2022 COMPETITION WINNER

Luofan creates jewellery based on a childhood game that invites the audience to interact with the work and to remember the joy of their own childhoods. “The original prototype of this series of works is a plastic ruler with a marble maze inside. This kind of ruler was once very popular in primary schools in China. I created six pieces of jewellery in different forms based on the marble maze, each of which is composed of two or more parts. Different internal mazes and multiple external designs jointly make the whole series full of unity and enjoyment.”
