Odile Gova

Odile Gova is the inventor and developer of this original zipper and felt craft.

Her decorative fibre brooches utilize Noro Kureyon wool from Japan, a material that is thick and strong enough to handle the weight of the zipper chosen, as well as repurposed textiles. The artist has also developed two interesting techniques of making felt rope and beads and incorporates her own needlepoint.

Odile has been creating textile jewellery for over fifteen years, after being a painter for fifteen years. Her elaborate designs come from a daily morning session of sketching.
